Urban requalification of Avni Rustemi square and the New Market - Lot 2: Reconstruction of Meat – Fish, Diaries Market at New Market square, Tirana. The interior space will be reorganized in order to be as rational as possible and to have more spaces, which were previously lost in corridors and the organization within the market become as regular as possible. This is realized through setting up dedicated premises for the sale of fish, meat and diary products and corridors where buyers will circulate. According to this project food products will not be sold as currently, but inside the market. Thereby the market's external facades will serve as showcases where the products shall be advertised putting an end to an arena of non-organized sales. The shops will operate according to a schedule set by the municipality, while the bar and restaurant will be more autonomous, that is why they are oriented towards the shopping square in order to have direct entry and exit. |
